My name is Lina Buchanan. I am one of the 5 kindergarten teachers at Central Elementary. This is my second year teaching Kindergarten in Sidney.

I’m originally from Kansas where I grew up in a small rural community.

I received my Elementary Education degree and my Masters degree at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. I am a HUGE KSU Wildcats fan and love college football!

I taught for 15 years in Manhattan, KS. I worked with Kindergarten and First grade throughout my time there. In 2009, I moved to Ashland Montana and taught Kindergarten at St. Labre for 2 years. I then moved to Brockton, Montana and taught Kindergarten for 3 years.

This is my second year as a Sidney Eagle and I am very excited to continure to learn more about Sidney and Montana!
