Safe Return to Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte announced the State of Emergency in Montana has been lifted starting June 30, 2021.  With this announcement, any additional plan of services to ensure the safety of the community, staff and students beyond what the district already provides is not necessary.  This request is only for compliance with Federal requirements.

Full Onsite Instruction

We will continue to provide full, onsite instruction for all students unless otherwise stated in an IEP or 504 plan.  The Sidney Trustees, Superintendent and Administration will review and determine offsite instruction on a case by case basis.

Precautionary Steps for Students and Staff

As always, please stay home if you are showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19.  We would also ask that you remain home if you are waiting on the results of COVID-19 testing or have been asked to be in quarantine by either the health department or a certified health provider.

Continued Emphasis on Cleaning and Disinfecting

Cleaning and disinfecting will continue to be a priority of all staff.  This will be done at all facilities and on all district transportation vehicles.

Community Minded

Community input has been taken and considered for all decisions made with this plan.  Multiple Facebook Live sessions have occurred and all input from viewers was considered when modifying this plan.

Previous Plan

Everything within the plan below was followed as outlined.  We no longer operate under the 1900 series policies.  These were terminated in June of 2022.  We will continue to keep our safe opening plan and will monitor the COVID-19 cases within the county and determine if additional measures or movement between phases will need to occur to ensure the safety of all community members, staff and students.
