Greetings! My name is Janet Brannan. I teach 5th grade at Sidney Elementary School. My teaching degree is from Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND. For the past 28 years I've taught here in Sidney. I currently teach my homeroom subjects, two sections of Social Studies, as well as the advanced math class.
I am also the Title IX Coordinator for our school district. Any reports of sexual harassment or gender bias are dealt with in a timely manner with the building principals and counselors. If further investigation is needed to determine whether or not a case actually included sexual harassment, I am called in to do that investigation and determination. This is a federal program under the U.S. Department of Education.
