My family is originally from South Texas, but Sidney has been our home since 2013. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Martin, for 32 wonderful years, and we have four amazing kids...two of them got married within the last 4 years, so our family has grown since. I am beyond thrilled that our daughter and son-in-law made me a grandma last year, so I love spending time with our grandson!
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (Emphasis in English) in May 2014. I taught 8th grade English for 9 years and 8th grade Spanish for a few years while at Sidney Middle School. I have transitioned to Sidney High School where I now teach 8-12 grade Spanish. In my spare time, I volunteer as a board member for the Sunrise Women's Clinic. Some of my favorite pastimes are Arts & Crafts, attending car shows with my family, and tackling home improvement projects, as well.
