Accelerated Reader Book Finder
This webpage allows you to search the AR database to see if the books you have at home have an AR quiz. This resource is especially helpful since students can still call in and take AR quizzes through either their teacher or me, the librarian.

ABDO free Digital Bookshelf
I have already included an ABDO books link to their nonfiction eBooks and other databases, but ABDO has now offered access to all of their eBooks - ficiton and nonfiction. This digital bookshelf includes books for students of all ages, just choose what age group you are looking for (beginner, elementary, middle, etc.).
I hope this resource provides more reading materials to keep your student busy during this time!

ABDO free digital nonfiction library and databases
ABDO Publishers has offered free access to their digital resources of nonfiction books, as well as other resources. These resources are directed to students from Pre-K all the way to high school. The resources offer information on a variety of topics from animals and geography to famous individuals and social issues. All resources are free until June 2020.

Free Audible Books for Kids
Audbile, the audiobook branch of Amazon, offers several titles for children to listen to for free. They have books great for young kids all the way to books great for teenageers. The latests addition to this free collection the audiobook of the first Harry Potter book!

Scholastic: Learn at Home
Because of school closures, Scholastic is providing 2 weeks worth of articles and reading with related activities for parents to use at home. The "lessons" are split into levels from Pre-K to 9th grade. The daily readings cover a wide variety of topics.

National Geographic Young Explorers
National Geographic allows digital access to past issues of their children's magazine. Not only can kids read the articles and look at the images, they also have the option to have the words read to them. These magazines are a great way to get your child interested in nonfiction topics, especially wildlife.

Storyline Online
A website of books being read aloud by many famous people. The readings are accompanied by animations of the book illustrations. A great resource for K-1 and K-2!

Eric Carle book videos
This playlist of Youtube videos consists of 5 videos based off of Eric Carle stories. The videos are animated using the illustrations and art style of Eric Carle. The videos are well done, and enjoyable to watch.

Audio Book Cloud
This web page offers a variety of free audio books for children. This website also includes audiobooks for teens and adults, but the link goes directly to the children's section.

TumbleBooks
This website offers a variety of free ebooks and online stories and read alongs for kids K to 6th grade. They include a wide selection of graphic novels for various ages.
We have access to this resource until August 31.

Epic! - an online resource for books and other educational materials
This website offers a free 30-day trail with access to over 35,000 books to read or listen to. The selection of books is full of new and popular works that children will love. The website also offers educational videos and other resources to supplement the reading. The program is highly rated and well recommended.
