Mrs. Tamara Linder
Hi - I am Mrs. Linder, welcome to my class. This is my 37th year of teaching and I'm so excited to get started! I graduated from Dickinson State University in 1983, with a degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Music. I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, and was in the library for a period. I have had an empty nest for a couple of years now - My son , Kenny , is a manager for Cardinal Distributing in Bozeman, Montana. He is married to Desiree and they have 2 grandpuppies. My daughter , Amara, is a cositologist in Dickinson, North Dakota. She has 4 grandpuppies for me right now. I am living with 3 cats at the moment - Ducky(the oldest) who has a tortise shell pattern on his coat, is orange and cream colored and is a wonderful purring machine. He loves everyone! My daughter found my second kitty in a blizzard and thought that Ducky needed a friend. Her name is Missy and she is black and white and the acrobat in the family. She doesn't even weigh 5 pounds and is a leaper! Her favorite spot to sit is on the top of my bedroom door. Last but not least is Leo, he arrived this year at Christmas. My daughter has a thing for orange cats - she adopted him and turned around and gave him to me because her newest puppy used him for a chew toy! He is a tiger stripe orange and taupe kitty and extremely cuddly. That is my family world.
Besides teaching I also am the secretary for my church and play the organ and piano when necessary. Some of my favorites are: BOOKS, doing hardanger, scrapbooking, geneology, trying new recipes, and visiting family and friends. I really enjoy my job and hope that we will have a great year together!
