ALL ELA-11, BE-11, Advanced Junior English, and World Mythology students have access to the Google Classroom, where they can access materials necessary to complete most assignments, especially in regard to writing and research. Google Classroom

There is also a Weekly Calendar in the classroom where students can write down the weekly assignments.

If you are unable to view the Google Classroom, access your school-issued Google Account, or do not have access to an online device, please contact the high school or me personally (cweltikol@sidney.k12.mt.us) IMMEDIATELY!

*Note: Students who are absent have the day they return plus one to make up for missing work. If a student gets their work prior to leaving or is expected to, the work is to be done upon the student's return. If students are absent for a school activity, they are expected to check the classroom calendar and have work finished upon their return or have arrangements made with the teacher. If a student knows they are going to be gone (extra-curricular, family trip, appointment, etc.), then a student is asked to communicate with the teacher in order to get work prior to leaving. If a student does not makeup work in a timely manner (usually within 1-2 days), then the work becomes an automatic zero.

**This procedure is subject to change on a case-by-case basis, especially in regards to COVID-19.**

**STUDENTS WHO ARE QUARANTINED - ARE ABSENT FROM THE PHYSICAL CLASS BUT ARE PRESENT - ARE EXPECTED TO WORK IN THE ONLINE CLASSROOM OR PARTICIPATE IN LIVE CLASS VIDEOS!!! UNLESS THEY ARE ILL (WHICH SHOULD BE COMMUNICATED WITH THE TEACHER) THE NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF ABSENTEEISM DO NOT APPLY TO THEM!!!*
