Welcome to my website and to 2nd grade. I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade and to be able to learn with your child this year. I believe learning can be fun and hope to encourage a love of learning in your child.   We will be working on Language Arts skills using a series called Into Reading. This incorporates phonics, spelling, grammar, writing, and reading into one unit. Big Ideas Math will be used as our Math series. Our Science series is an interactive program called Mystery Science and our Social Studies program is called Studies Weekly. Other fun and educational units and projects will also be completed throughout the school year.
